CADD Consulting GmbH provides boutique R&D services in Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD) and Data Science. The company is based in Switzerland and was founded in 2022 by Oliv Eidam and Barbara Dravec.  

Oliv Eidam, Ph.D.

Oliv Eidam, Managing Director

Oliv Eidam is an established computational scientist with 15+ years of experience in Computer-Aided Drug Design and drug discovery.
Before creating CADD Consulting, Oliv Eidam was Associate Director Computational Chemistry at Ridgeline Discovery. At Ridgeline he supervised all CADD and database activities for four biotechs (Black Diamond Therapeutics, Bright Peak Therapeutics, Monte Rosa Therapeutics and Matterhorn Biosciences) from inception, delivering clinical candidates, to IPO. Prior to this, he supported drug projects and the DNA-Encoded Library platform as Senior Data Scientist at Roche. In his Postdoc in the lab of Brian Shoichet at UCSF he acquired his hit selection skills from virtual screens and published eight papers. He obtained his Ph.D. in the lab of Markus Grütter at the University of Zurich in 2008 where he solved six new X-ray structures. In 2003 he obtained a M.A.S. in Bioinformatics from the University of Lausanne and used molecular dynamics to dock peptides with Olivier Michielin. In 2002 he did his master thesis in Don Hilvert’s lab and obtained a Master in Natural Sciences from the ETH Zurich.

Barbara Dravec, M.A., PMP

Barbara Dravec, Co-founder and partner

Barbara Dravec is co-founder and partner at CADD Consulting. With 15 years of experience in business and software development and international IT project management, she has a record of success leading lean, high performance tech teams across time zones and cultures. She constantly promotes agile product development with clear goals, supportive culture and flexible technology, and she holds an active certification as a project management professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
She is a lecturer at University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland at the department of computer science and data science. She enjoys sharing her experiences with others through advising and conference speaking. As a co-founder and partner at Tech’n’it Discovery Engine she developed the mobile reading app “Readney” for kids. Barbara holds a Master’s degree in Political Science, Law and Economy from University of Zurich.
